Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Table Tennis NZ recognises Te Tiriti o Waitangi as Aotearoa New Zealand’s founding document and is committed to upholding the mana of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the principles of Partnership, Protection and Participation.
Training: Child Safeguarding
There are 4 modules that are required to be completed by all Table Tennis NZ staff and volunteers working with children and young people and for those working within any affiliated Table Tennis Organisation. They have been created by Sport Integrity Commission and can be completed at your own pace.
You have the option to explore individual modules but you must complete all four to meet the full learning path requirements and to be appointed to work with children and young people as a staff or volunteer within Table Tennis NZ and it's affiliated Table Tennis Organisations.
Anyone can create an account and enrol in any, or all the following courses:
- Child Safeguarding (30 minutes)
- Child Protection (45 minutes)
- Travelling with Children and Young People (30 minutes)
- Creating Safer Experiences and Environments (30 minutes)
