Eligibility Process for Players Not Born in New Zealand
This is the process for players not born in New Zealand who wish to be eligible for New Zealand representative teams.
TTNZ is guided by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rules and regulations in regards to player eligibility. These rules cover criteria such as length of residency, association representation history, and nationality status.
If you are a player who was not born in New Zealand and would like to be considered for national representation, please email TTNZ with the following details:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Current association/club
- Country of birth
- Length of residency in New Zealand
- Table tennis playing history (including any previous countries/associations represented)
Email your details to ttnz@tabletennis.org.nz. Your eligibility will be assessed in accordance with the ITTF Handbook and TTNZ selection policies.
