*Overseas-based Senior Men’s or Women’s players who may not be able to attend the NZ Open Championships, may apply to TTNZ in writing requesting an exemption before 30th July 2025. Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis with TTNZ’s decision being final. An example of a reason that will be considered, but not guaranteed an exemption, is players with contracts in professional leagues (copy of contract required). Any player who receives an exemption from playing the NZ Open Championships, would be required to play in either a TTNZ National tournament or ITTF International tournament to be approved in writing by TTNZ.
