TTNZ Central Region Development Officer Matt Ball was back in New Plymouth over the weekend.  Matt ran a coach development session on Saturday attended by four local players at the Methodist Church which is the home of the Central Table Tennis Club that plays on Thursday nights. Three of these players with Matt's guidance then led a two hour coaching session with 9 junior players on Sunday, putting into practice some of the skills learned from the day before. The weekend was finished off with a junior tournament. Big shout out  to locals Michael Gibbs and Delwyn Singh for helping out when they could during their busy work schedules. The local's have enjoyed having Matt back but now their challenge is to get a junior session back up and running to cater for some young players who are keen to play and improve. Four more coaches are now ready to work. Good luck Taranaki!
